Details:
Around the globe high-rise buildings and super high-rise buildings are appearing like never before. Whilst the race for the tallest is hard, the industry is also producing beautiful and interesting buildings, rather than the functional boxes that were common in the 1980s.
There are, however, concerns on their safety, types of materials used, evacuation, structural resistance to fire and extreme events. Engaging the whole built environment the focus of the event will be on fire and safety with discussions on how sustainable and secure tall buildings are.
